Our Story

Back where it all began — Christmas at Mum’s, looking wonderfully 90s.

Christmas has always been so special in our family.

My sisters and I were raised by our amazing mum, who filled our childhood with love, fun and family traditions. She always made Christmas feel magical, which I truly believe is why we all love it as much as we do today.

I’ve now had 40 Christmases, and I’ve never spent a single Christmas Eve away from Mum and my sisters — not one!

We still gather at Mum’s every year and usually stay until sometime between Boxing Day and New Year’s. We spend those days enjoying everyone’s new gifts, eating all the leftovers, playing backyard cricket and having water fights — a pretty iconic Aussie summer Christmas!

Now, I hope to give Alfie and Goldie the same kind of childhood Mum gave us, filled with love, traditions and memories they’ll carry forever.

After a few quiet years, The Magical Christmas Co. is also beginning a new chapter. With my two little Christmas helpers in tow, I’m finding my creative flow again and working towards creating more of our pieces in-house — making them even more personal, precious and made to be loved.
